These past few weeks have probably been the most difficult for me since C&D were born.  I am for the most part a very upbeat and happy person, but in the past few weeks I can see that I am not really be myself.  I have to find ways to deal with all the crying and screaming that goes on during the day.  It is so true that with twins when it is hard it is doubly hard.  Although when it is great it is so great.   The Ups these days are seeing my kids learn new things like playing with blocks and Cadence learning she can put them together.  She got the biggest smile on her face when she realized that they snapped together.  Or when Dexter is chasing Holly around the house laughing hysterically.  His face just lights up when Holly plays with him.   These are the things I need to focus on!  Life is really wonderful and we are so blessed! ~MoM

Craft and art time is in full swing at our house.  Cadence and Dexter seem to be more and more interested in arts and crafts.  So I tried some finger painting with them this week. It was not a total failure but I think the kids thought the paint was food.  Oh well.  Next time they may be more into it.  I am currently on the search for new activities to do with the kids to keep them busy and entertained.  There are so many blogs and websites with great ideas so lots to try.  Cadence getting ready to paint! Oliver getting into his painting!  Dexter was more interesting in eating the paint.  Good thing it was made out of veggies and fruit :)

Mornings are my favorite time with my kids. They usually wake up crying because they are starving from not eating all night, but after that first bottle they are all smiles and giggles. We play, sing songs and have a wonderful time. I try and remember these times in the afternoon when they are screaming their heads off and so grouchy. It is definitely the little things that make life wonderful!

So my attempt to create and maintain a blog has been a totally failure.  I am pretty sure that Facebook has been the problem.  Facebook so so instant.  Instant gratification.  I really have to do no work to post pictures or let people know what is going on with me life.  I am not sure I like this.  So I am changing my means of communication in hopes that I can express myself and keep family and friends up to date with the happenings of the Harris'.   So here is to a new year and hopefully a successful blog! My little walker!

Day 12: How you found out about Blogger and why you made a blog It seems like everyone is blogging these days and almost all the blogs I read use blogger.  I tried to use Word Press in the beginning but had a hard time using it.  I have always loved to write and feel that I can best express myself with thoughts rather than speaking.  I also have two very special people in my life right now and I am hoping to keep track of life and what is happening with this blog.  Although so far I have been very unsuccessful in actually keeping up with this.  We take so many pictures and they seem to just stay on our computer and we never see them again.  I wanted a way to share those pictures and be able to look back at the past year and just say "Wow"!  Life gets real busy sometimes and I have to learn to stop and just enjoy life and not worry about everything that is going on.  Things are pretty great right now.      

Day 11: Another Picture of you and your friends! I really do have some very special people in my life right now that I call my friends.  Family and friends are probably two of the most important aspects of my life.   To all of my friends Thank you for all your love and support in the last year!  

Day 10: Songs you listen to when you are Happy, Sad and Mad This question really involves way too much thought which I don't have a lot of time for these days with two squirmy kids at home.  I listen to such a wide variety of music it is hard to put it into categories.  Plus at the moment a lot of the music I listen to is on the Dish Network kids music channel.  Songs about music in your belly and doing a potty dance are what fills my ears these days.  So on to the next question!
